Welcome to South Texarkana!

For more than 100 years here on Carmichael Hill, Texarkana.

In 1917, Rev. M.G. Kidd and a small group of believers established South Texarkana Baptist Church located on South Spruce St. on the Texas side. The church was moved after acquiring property at Ida and South State Line.

For 106 years, South Texarkana Baptist Church has been seeking to share the love and saving grace of Jesus with our community.

September 24, 2023, we celebrate our one hundred sixth anniversary during our annual homecoming services.

If you are now, every have been or would like to become a member of South Texarkana, you are invited to attend one of our worship services. Come and take part in Morning Worship services beginning at 10:00am.
